MaxArc Medical Library™

Medical Information & Safety

How this library provides educational medical information responsibly. Educational information only — not a diagnosis, prescription, or treatment service.

What this library is

MaxArc Medical Library™ is an educational medical reference. It helps students, clinicians, researchers, families, and approved institutions understand health information — conditions, symptoms, laboratory tests, anatomy, medications, and procedures — in clear, plain language alongside professional depth.

Content is organized for learning and for preparing better questions to ask a qualified clinician. Every medically meaningful topic carries source provenance and a human-review status.

What this library is not

This library does not diagnose, prescribe, or make patient-specific clinical decisions. It does not alter medication instructions, provide individualized treatment orders, or replace a qualified clinician or emergency services.

Educational explanations describe general categories and patterns to discuss with a healthcare professional. They are never a definitive diagnosis of your situation.

Sources & original content

Coverage is informed by authoritative public health references such as MedlinePlus, NIH, NLM, CDC, FDA, WHO, and NHS. Where content is public domain or explicitly reusable, it is used under its terms with attribution, source URL, source organization, license status, and retrieval date preserved.

Where source wording, imagery, or layout is protected, MaxArc creates original equivalents from the underlying medical facts. Source citations are preserved for factual review.

AI-assisted tools

A small number of tools in this library — such as the Document Interpreter — produce AI-assisted explanations of information you enter. Those tools carry their own notice: AI-assisted explanations may contain errors. Verify important information with a qualified professional.

Ordinary library articles are human-authored and human-reviewed; they are not AI-generated, and they do not carry the AI notice.

Human review & publication

Automation may organize, compare, classify, and prepare evidence, but it never approves or publishes medically meaningful content. Publication requires a recorded human-review decision. Topics still in draft, source review, or clinical review are not shown to the public.

Emergency guidance

If you or someone else has severe or sudden symptoms — such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, sudden weakness or trouble speaking, or thoughts of self-harm — do not wait. Contact your local emergency services immediately.

Documents & privacy

Educational document workflows in this library run on information you enter for your own review. They are designed to avoid storing protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII). Do not enter another person's identifiers, and do not rely on these tools for clinical decisions.

Source rights & what MaxArc may use

Being able to read something online is not permission to reuse it. Every source is classified into one of these rights statuses, and the classification decides what MaxArc may do with it. Unknown rights block ingestion and publication until a person reviews them.
